Power for this 1963 Chevrolet Corvette coupe comes from a replacement 327ci V8 that was rebuilt under present ownership and is backed by a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a Posi-traction rear end. Reportedly repainted in the factory-correct Ermine White. The seller is now offering this split-window C2 in Texas with an inspection report, books and manuals, and a clean Texas title in the current owner's name.
The Ermine White (936) exterior finish is accented by Red vinyl (490L) with a color-keyed dashboard, console, and carpeting. An original-style vertically mounted Delco AM/FM radio is equipped, and additions include a wood-rimmed steering wheel, Hurst short-throw shifter, and air conditioning. Aftermarket 6″ x 9″ speakers in removable boxes are positioned behind the seats to supplement the inoperable factory components.
The refurbished instrument cluster features a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows ~36k miles, with true mileage unknown.
The replacement CE-stamped 327ci V8 reportedly was rebuilt under previous ownership, and it is paired with a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels via a 3.36:1 Posi-traction differential. A 30-30 camshaft was installed at the time of the rebuild.
